Q: Do you deliver? A: Yes, to the surrounding area for a small delivery charge, and in some cases a minimum product amount. In most cases we can deliver your supplies the next day after placing your order. Please note that our drivers do not carry cash with them, so we require other forms of payment.
Q: Can you tell me how much material I need for my project? A: Yes. For rock, sand and topsoil you can expect to get 120 square feet of material for every ton, at a thickness of 2 inches. The exception to the rule is Lava rock. Because of it's lighter weight you get around 200 square feet per ton (2"thick).
We sell compost and mulch by the yard, which covers approximately 80-100 square feet, at a thickness of 2".
Q: How much is a scoop of mulch? A: What size scoop? The industry standard for measuring mulch in volume is by the yard. We price mulch by the yard, and load it with either a 1/2 yard scoop or a scoop that is 1 1/4 yards in size. Please note that some truck beds and trailer lenghts are too small to load with the 1 1/4 yard scoop, so we are limited to using only the 1/2 yard scoop.
Q. What’s a “yard”? A. A yard is a cube that is 3 feet wide, 3 feet tall and 3 feet deep. It is a total of 27 cubic feet.
Q: How much mulch can I get in my truck? A: A pickup truck with a full size bed (8') can haul up to 2 1/2 yards, while a smaller size bed (6') can haul 1 1/2 yards.
Q: Does the cat in your office live there? A: Yes. Her name is OC, short for Office Cat.
Q: Where does your rock come from? A: All over the country.
